Literary bibliotherapy practicum in Ogulin

Prof. Davor Piskač began a series of ten Literary Bibliotherapy Practicum workshops at the Ogulin City Library, focusing on the bibliotherapeutic reading of I’m Not Going Anywhere, a collection of short stories by the award-winning Macedonian author Rumena Bužarovska.

Combining theoretical and practical components, the programme was designed to develop participants’ ability to interpret literary texts from an emotional perspective and to understand literature as a space for recognising emotional processes, inner conflicts and opportunities for personal growth.

The Practicum is intended for librarians, teachers, educators, professional associates and others interested in developing emotional literacy and empathy through literature.

The programme has been held at the Ogulin City Library for five consecutive years, with the support of the City of Ogulin and Karlovac County.
